I predict that the Republicans will work out some way to move McCain off the ticket. His recent performance is so poor, punctuated with significant factual flubs that his campaign will be a disaster. Look for a health problem or perhaps the Panama problem as the excuse.
To make matters worse, McCain has significant fund raising problems and he would not even be able to compete properly. For example, so few people showed up to see McCain and the President that they had to switch from an amphitheater to a room. Whoever replaces him will be blown away financially by Obama.
Hey David, got a great idea, If the elephants decide they can't win with McCain, why not throw in Trent Lott. Heck, he did all he he could to do to give into the democrats. Plus, he is king of earmarks, and is now one of them, the lobbyists.
