(CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Bush "a total failure" on Thursday, among the California Democrat's harshest assessments to date of the president.

We are only talking about Rep. Pelosi if we let you get away with the old rhetorical stunt of switching subjects to the speaker and away from the subject matter. Nice try, DJ, but I don't think you'll fool anyone in this forum.
So now you agree that President Bush is a total failure? What's the point of your prior postings? Trolling?
While you are no doubt not a frivolous person, your postings are so inept as to be nearly incomprehensible. That's weird at best.
Here is what I mean. If I say the Queen Mary II is a really nice ship, you say that the Titanic was ship too. That's nice, that's true, but it is not relevant to the discussion about the Queen Mary II.
Another example, Frank says Joe is lazy. Mary hears about it and shouts that Frank is lazy. What relevance does that have to the discussion about Joe?
Would it help to know that Frank is black, or that he thought to be a Muslim, or that his middle name is Finkelstein? No, that's no help. Frank's assertion about Joe would still stand, uncontested.
Indeed, several people, perhaps hundreds or thousands could say all sorts of horrible things about Frank all over the web and on talk radio too (or nice things, e.g., that Frank is in fact a marvelously devout Muslim.) However, such comments would not affect Frank's assertion in the first instance that Joe is lazy. That assertion would remain uncontested in all the din. Although Frank and others might find themselves chilled about talking about Joe in the future, the initial assertion would remain unanswered. Indeed, one might say that Frank's character had been attacked, but there is nothing there to attack his character for honesty or his character for accurate assessment of laziness. In fact, if Frank really is "lazy" that might make him somewhat of an expert on the subject and increase his capacity to see it in others.
So, you say that Pelosi is a total failure too. What does that have to do with her assertion that Bush is a complete failure? It turns out it has nothing to do with it at all. The big point of the Pelosi story was that it is the first time in living memory that a Speaker of the House has called a sitting President a complete failure. I think that is a point that zipped right past your head.
Is chilling your point, or is it just general fogging in a nice trolling sort of way?
In any event, it is a common trick by conservatives all over talk radio and on blogs everywhere to pull out a blue dress and waive it at anybody who points out the terrible state of the current conservative government. It is an error of logic, an error of ethics, and of course, inane. That kind of fogging is usually done anonymously, as you did here. So, here we have it again, another frightened and remarkably uninformed conservative hiding behind another tree, bewildered, shouting, and waving a blue dress.
I must say too, that your assessment of Speaker Pelosi is way off the mark. She is a remarkably competent person who helped derail forever the conservative agenda. Consider this nice interview from TPM:
