Perhaps one of the techies on this Board can enlighten me. The link provided by David links to the United Negro College Fund website (at least at the moment). Even when I manually type www.obamabayh08.com into my browser it takes me to the uncf website. When I search google, the link provided by google also links to the uncf website. How is it possible to conclude that either the Obama campaign or the Democratic party has reserved the website based on a link to the uncf website?
Update: Senator Bayh is currently denying rumors that anything will be announced today:
Update #2. The link below explains it. www.obamabayh08.com was linking to the DNC website (no doubt at the time David posted the head-post). Since then somebody has obviously redirected it to link to the uncf website instead.
I'm still holding out for Bill Richardson, who seems to have completely dropped off the radar.
The routing of the link was changed by the owner of the link. When I posted it it ran directly to to the Democratic Party.
Me thinks that some lower level programmer at the Democratic party let the cat out of the bag by mistake and they have put the cat back in the bag. By the way, have you ever tried to stuff a cat into a bag? Not a good idea.

It's never a good idea to start an argument with David on his own website, but I would read the comments to the ABC blog I linked at the end of my last post. The website registration information was as follows:

My memory is that Obama first announced his candidacy around May of 2007. Mr. Chan would have to have been a very perceptive DNC operative to have registered that website in May 2007 on behalf of the Democratic Party. A more mundane explanation is that Mr. Chan linked to the DNC website without permission, somebody complained, and he re-linked to the uncf website.

I'm predicting tomorrow (08/20) and Joe Biden. My reasoning on Biden is that recent developments in Russia (a subject on which he is a recognized expert) have increased his stock value.
I spoke with dozens and dozens of folks on Saturday and Sunday about the Presidential race when I was out doing voter registration for the Obama campaign.
Here is my analysis regarding Democratic VP choice based on those discussions.
First, the tinfoil hat brigade of the Republican Party is not going to vote for Obama no matter what happens. Don't try to pick somebody to bring them in, it is a waste of time.
Second, a very large percentage of Republicans are dissatisfied with both parties and might well vote for a third party candidate or just stay home. For them, the VP choice will make a difference.
Third, many Democrats were disappointed that HIllary was not the nominee. Having Hillary as VP would bring them all on board. There are a lot of those types.
Fourth, die-hard Obama fans (like me) will support Obama no matter what happens.
Fifth, some Republicans will vote for Obama if the candidate is not Hillary.
Sixth, some Republicans who would have voted for Obama will vote for McCain if Hillary is the VP. They hate Hillary. These are usually men over 45 years.
Seventh, many Republican women will vote for Obama if Hillary is the VP.
Overall, from a "vote getting" perspective, all of this tells me that there will be a substantial net gain for Obama if he picks Hillary. If winning is the game, Hillary is the name. _________________ David Traver

Agree completely. And what is it with this crock of stuff about Bill Clinton being too much of a problem if Hillary's VP (candidate and/or office holder)? I find this a bit mystifying since Obama has shown that he's his own person and that he can organize and run an incredibly competent presidential campaign. How is it that he couldn't figure out how to "manage" Bill Clinton, assuming that Bill Clinton's suddenly become too stupid to know how to support a campaign? Stuff and nonsense, as my dear departed mother used to say with some vigor.
