Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Daniel Traver to the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court.

Traver, 37, of Orlando, is a shareholder of GrayRobinson P.A., where he has practiced complex commercial litigation since 2005. Traver began his legal career as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge G. Kendall Sharp. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his law degree from Loyola University, Chicago. Traver is the co-founder and Vice President of Dorothy’s Family, a charity that provides comfort to children undergoing cancer treatment. Traver is also President of Track Shack Foundation, which awards grants for purchase of physical education equipment and playgrounds to promote youth health and fitness. He fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Walter Komanski.

Governor Rick Scott said, “Dan has the qualities that will make him a great judge. I look forward to his service to Florida families. ”

Please keep in mind that this is my Nephew, Daniel Traver.  My brother Daniel A. Traver, is an Administrative Law Judge at the Social Security Administration.
